Cartridge Valve Accessories

Cartridge valve body
Body

Plastic body that converts a cartridge valve to a solenoid configuration.

Remote control for cartridge valves with infra red sensor
Remote Control

For use with all cartridge valves with either remote or built in infra red sensors.

Batteries and battery cases
Battery Cases

Provides moisture protection for 6v & 9v batteries when used with bi-stable valves.

Cartridge Valves
Technical Definition: Bi-stable Valves

Also known as latching valves.

Require a positve pulse to open, then a negative pulse to close.

Only uses power when being switched.

Available in 3, 6 or 9vdc.

Ideal for use with batteries.

Bi-stable Pulse Graph
Technical Definition: Mono-stable Valves

Require a voltage to open the valve.

Valve closes when the voltage ceases.

After the initial opening the holding voltage

can be reduced.

Available in 12 or 24vdc.

Ideal for use with transformers.

Standard Cartridge Valves

Installation of standard cartridge valve
Installation

Inlet and outlet on the bottom of the valve.

Axial Cartridge Valves

Installation of axial cartride valve
Installation

Inlet and outlet at opposite ends of the valve.

Accentric Cartridge Valves

Installation of accentric cartridge valves
Installation

As per the standard valves but with the solenoid moved to one side to accomodate the battery.

Bi-stable Solenoid Valves
